Intellectual Property Litigation Associate (3-5+ years experience)

IP Litigation Associate — 3-5+ Years Experience

We are looking for a junior litigation associate attorney (3-5+ years) with demonstrated writing and research skills and significant experience in managing discovery. While not required, big firm experience is a plus. This position will be fast paced and include immediate client contact with the opportunity to develop case management and client relationship management skills.

Searching for an Opportunity to Quickly Develop Valuable Skills?

  • Would you like sophisticated work?

  • Would you like more client contact and an opportunity to manage cases?

  • Are you interested in career and business development coaching?

Imagine working with a team who gets it and puts as much emphasis on developing each individual member’s talents.   If you’d love to work in a collaborative environment where everyone has a voice and enjoys working on projects together to meet common goals, Klemchuk is the place for you.

Team-Centric Litigation Group

Our litigation practice operates as a team to work our caseload, which includes a weekly docket deadline/case strategy meeting where we process all the cases as a group.  We also encourage collaboration within the team by forming diverse project teams for each case.  This structure provides enhanced experience for junior lawyers and allows us to structure case teams to best serve client interests.

Want an Opportunity for the Next Step in Your Legal Career?

This position will offer the right candidates the opportunity to dramatically build their litigation skills and potentially business development skills.

Intellectual Property Litigation/Commercial Litigation at Klemchuk

We are a results-oriented technology law firm that is obsessed with client service, professional excellence, and maintaining a positive work environment.  In the last year, we have conducted two federal court jury trials (a third settled on the eve of jury selection) and an arbitration, so this position will likely have significant courtroom experience and the opportunity to participate in trials.

If you are interested in playing a key role in advancing this culture and vision, please apply today to join the team.

Success Behaviors:

Through over 13 years of experience, we have learned that professionals with the following values and behaviors succeed in our culture:

  • Focused on delivering high-quality client service through a team effort (e.g., you are a great team player)

  • Ability to “get stuff done” with a positive attitude and fast pace

  • Conscientious attention to detail

  • Ability to think outside the box to execute on projects based on end goal versus adhering to a detailed road map

  • Proactive problem solving

  • Attitude consistent with our core values — (i) great attitude... puts others first; (ii) driven to make an impact; (iii) always open to a better way; (iv) courage to do the right thing; and (v) someone you can count on

For this role, the attorney must be willing to prioritize the work of the team over individual performance.  In other words, this is a “team first” position.  “Lone rangers,” “screamers,” “jerks,” and “control freaks” will not succeed in this role.
