You may be wrong, as Facebook, Google, Amazon, and eBay are reportedly among top Internet companies that are forming a new trade association to lobby Congress regarding technology issues. According to the President and CEO of the new association, Michael Beckerman, the mission will be to lobby for “political solutions that will push for protecting a free and open Internet” and to guard against what the members believe to be excessive regulation.
