We are looking for an experienced Professional Law Firm Administrator (PLA) who has traveled the road ahead of us, shares our core values, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and help us execute on our plan. And by "our plan" we mean the plan we have and the plan you will help us develop by having a seat at the table, because our core values are to fill this firm with people who make a difference and are open to a better way.
We manage the business through the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) or "Traction."
We represent high-end clients. We aspire to provide Nordstrom-level customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
If you are the person we are looking for, you have already helped build and run a fast-growing law firm like ours. Specific responsibilities will include:
Help the entrepreneurial owner clarify his vision
Communicate his vision to the current staff of 13 people, who all share our core values
Recruit, onboard, and train the staff we will need to grow the firm
Manage by KPIs
Supervise HR and payroll
Oversee IT and manage facilities
Share co-participation responsibilities with the owner for P&L
QUALIFICATIONS
Please be prepared to discuss your prior success with:
Creating, implementing, and refining business processes to improve law firm profitability
Employee engagement, leadership, supervision, and termination as well as Human Resource functions (interviewing, payroll, benefits administration)
Managing KPIs and using common financial reports to make business decisions (budget variance, P&L, cashflow forecast, work pipeline, balance sheet)
Managing vendors such as bookkeepers, accountants, and technology services
Playing a role in the management of teams of 10 or more people and budgets of $5M or more
Ability to implement and effectively run EOS is a big plus
SOFTWARE AND SYSTEMS
We will likely grow out of these, but we currently run Clio, QBO, Bill.com, Dropbox, and Monday.com.
