This Ethics CLE features a presentation by David Coale from Lynn Pinker Cox Hurst, which discusses recent ethics and professional responsibility cases from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, including the scope of the “attorney immunity” doctrine.  The second presentation, by Kirk Bowman from Art of Value, explores conflicts of interest in pricing, especially as it relates to attorneys. It also shows how to price engagements based on the value you create, rather than the traditional method of hourly rates. Kirk will also discuss the ethic guidelines attorneys face in pricing their services.
